Thanks to everyone, I will upgrade my system specs... as a future system spec. You guys made this happen, thanks for your support. I now have a list I can work with.

For the foxconn bloodrage, does it come with a sound card? Will I want one in the future for a sexy AD 700
Buy CoD2!!! My P4 1.8 & ATI 9550 ran it. I love that game and still play it.

Nope, you can thank an overzealous mod for that one. I still don't see what was wrong with it. There's much worse on here that seems to be acceptable

Nah, an OCZ Vertex, Agility, or Summit would be far faster than a non SSD striped array and can be found on sale for $280 at times for a 120 gb. You only need 1, so that's not bad at all. Toss in a cheap storage drive that's like $50 for 1/2 a terabyte and you're in great shape.

Get 750HX\\TX, 5800 series cards draw so little power it's more than enough.

I'd personally get G.Skill\\Corsair, I've never liked OCZ.

You might want to get a data drive (640\\1TB), as that 120GB SSD will fill very quickly.

OCZ is the only brand of memory I've never had fail. I've had a lot more Crucial and G Skill sticks, so I guess that has to be taken into account. The fact remains that OCZ has been rock solid for me and I intend of using them more often.

Thanks for the back up. Okie, dokie.. I will add a small drive for stuff. I want to keep web browsing, and downloading to a minimum. I will use my iphone, when I get a new one, for an instant messanger.

One problem I am also coming across is a good blue-ray player. The LG one I was looking at for $130, seems to put 3 program in the program tray. Seems like they want to fill up your computer with BS...

That monitor isn't worth the money in my opinion. Look for some 23.6" monitors instead and you will almost half the cost.

BenQ sells a similar monitor for the same price, and only offers 1920x1080.

Care to explain why I'm not paying for a quality product? I've had my Samsung SyncMaster191t since 2002, and I paid $1,000 for it. I decided to get this at the time..instead of upgrading my 333mhz Dell... Bad choice, haha.

Honestly, the monitor still works. Old, it ghosts..and leaves behind dead images. I use to play WoW for hours, and the bottom UI would remain on the screen no matter what I was doing on the computer. I remember I almost cried going from 17" CRT to 19" LCD, playing counter-strike. The ghosting from day one was noticable, until my eyes got use to it. I am ready to give samsung my money back.

Yes, I am naming negatives to my monitor..and no postive. The problem is... I purchased a LCD monitor in 2002.

Lets back up what you said.... Show me a cheaper monitor, with almost any input lag (yup close to zero) and offers a .27 dot pitch. Don't forget 1920x1200!

I'm not trying to bash you here, but all I'm trying to say is... it's really hard finding the right monitor. I would appreciate some further information on why you recommended a monitor switch.
