Well 2-2-2-5 is the best but play with the timings and do some testing to see how low you can get them.

3-3-3-8 at 400mhz really isn't all that great, as the last post say's just play around some with the timings, the first one will affect things the most. I'd imagine it could be stable at 2.5-3-3-7 or so but all ram is different.

actually that RAM will run 2-3-3-6 1T @400Mhz. That's what it's rated to do from Corsair, so if it won't run that then there's somethign wrong with it. however, as I'm sure you've seen the RAM defaults to 3-3-3-8 so you have to manually set it to 2-3-3-6.

you can also take a look at what version you have. the older versions run 2.5-3-3-6 on AMD platforms, but from about 4.2 on (I think) will run 2-3-3-6 no problems. I personally have a pair of those and they work well.

if you loosen the timings to 2.5-3-3-8 they'll oc quite nicely. give them about 2.8 or 2.85v and they will probably go up to about DDR500.

oh, and you should change the timings in the bios. it will work better.

my 3200xl ram will overclock to 533 at 2.5-4-4-7 1t, its nice. i'd imagine you can do yours at 2.5-4-4-8. c2 isn't that crappy

and your best bet is to do it in bios. windows sux0r
