Good custom w/c kit?

Thread Starter
I've been thinkning of switching from air to something that could cool a little better first I was thinking of watercooling a pelt but not anymore becuse it would cost to much so I'm making a custom w/c kit and I would like your opinions on the kit if I should replace or uppgrade anything

Cpu block:
Danger Den TDX A64 1/2" or the Swiftech Storm leaning towards the TDX cheeper

Gpu Block:
Danger Den Maze4 GPU Low Profile Acetal 1/2"

Pump:

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump or the The Danger Den DD12V-D5 can't decide any opinions

Radiator:

Danger Den Dual Heater Core 1/2" or the Black Ice Xtreme 2 wich one would be better any1 have either one of them I would love to see some pictures

Reservoir:

Danger Den waterTank plexi 5.25 1/2"

Tubing:
Danger Den Tygon 1/2"

Liquid:
Distilled Water

Additive:
Zerex Racing Super Coolant 30ml
Green UV-dye

how does it look

The Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump and The Danger Den DD12V-D5 are the same pump.
A heatercore would be better than the Black Ice.

Looks like i want it. Ye thats a good setup. But if o were u i'd get black ice pro2 120cm one, and instead of a gpu block, make this a cpu only. Then, for 50 bucks, like me, buy a hobby pump for 10 bucks, a cheap gpu block for another 20, tubing for 5, and a rad for 15. There u have yerself an awesome cooling setup, and u can run 2 different dies! But other then that.. .Well thats probably the 50th time that list has been here.

You should try the apogee and tell us how it is. It is much cheaper compared to the Storm and it's probably still better than the outdated TDX

Also, if you decide to get the Storm, do realize that the UV dye and any additives (besides water, itself) will start to clog the small jets housed in the block which will require periodic maintenance.

I'm getting the DD Bay Reservoir High-Density Polyethylene I really like the design. If you are worried about price with the CPU block you should get the swiftech apogee. Finally, GO HEATERCORE! WOOT FOR HEATERCORE!

Cpu block:
Swiftech Apogee or Swiftech 6002-64 (both are cheaper and perform better than the TDX blocks)

Gpu Block:
Danger Den Maze4 GPU Low Profile Acetal 1/2"

Pump:

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump or the The Danger Den DD12V-D5 (they're the same thing)

Radiator:

Black Ice Extreme II

Reservoir:

NO RES! T-Line + Fillport

Tubing:
www.mcmaster.com Masterkleer 1/2" ID x 3/4" OD tubing (same bend radius as tygon, and WILL NEVER STAIN)

Liquid:
Distilled Water

Additive:
Zerex Racing Super Coolant 30ml (any antifreeze works, don't bother paying more from DD's site)
Green UV-dye

Yeah, I like my Storm. It works very well with high-head pumps, like the DD D5 you're getting. Definitely go for the heatercore, it's got much better aerodynamic qualities than the BIX.
