Well, I must admit that RAID indeed is a bit overrated. I finally managed to set up raid 0 but it seems that nvidia solution is not very fast. Transfer rates measured in HD Tune were quite fast but overall responsivness and gaming performance didn't change so ewentually I reverted back to single drives solution. Nevertheless it is always worth experimenting to see for yourself smile.gif

I think you may be able to run all the way up to a Ph II X4 980 but am not sure on that. I have run a Ph II X4 955 in mine on the Beta G18 bios found on the first post of the club in the club roster under the BIOS tab.

Absolutely. No issues at all with a C3 (125watt) PhII 980. G18 or P16 works well.
Reads with my SSD have been limited to around 225Mb/s because of sata2 limitations, although with a newer board, should see around 550Mb/s
Edit: BTW, the Destroyer is going strong, running BOINC wu's 24/7, churnin' out about 870K ppd. WOOT!

I RMA'd my Foxconn Destroyer near the end of the first year I had it. I was sent a brand new board since it was under warranty. I never used it, so if anyone here wants to buy it. Here's the link on Ebay:

My Destroyer is still sitting in my gameserver hosting TF2 dedi.

I really need to dust out my computers, do general maintinance and write a batch file that will take the TF2 server down each day for updates, then restart the server. For now though, It's sitting on the network taking up space. lolol
