And, problem. I've got a no-boot situation here. I've got a blue, an orange, and a red LED lighting up on the board. No power to USB devices when I turn it on, no video signal. Hard drives spin up. I have two RAM modules in the white slots (my CPU HSF blocks the blue ones) and a 940 installed. Double checked all connections. Anything I should check? It might just be that I'm doing something stupid as it's the end of a long day for me.
Edit: CPU and GPU fans spin up normally as well.
Did you reset cmos settings? seems like a ram issue, i had the same issue when i had the wrong timings for my corsair doms 8500c5, and also it would freeze on the post screen if ihad anything above 2.15volts on the ram, i found out ram settings on this board are very touchy, but once you tune and find their sweet spot, it shoudl be ok.
Also keep all settings on ram auto except the main ones, eg. 5-5-5-15 and the rest on auto, especially any got to do with write timings. Hope it helps.
Also how do i put the cpuz.cvf validation file on here? or do i have to wait for the link they will send me in the email when i validated it.Edited by OptimusSwine - 3/6/10 at 6:12am
