There are two different types of NB
One is on the mobo otherwise known as the Chipset or NB chipset and it is typically what produces the the HT Link once you calculate your FSB multiplied by what ever multiplier you choose.
The other is the CPU-NB which is also known as the speed of the internal IMC in your Ph II & Athlon II CPU's
I ran my Ph II X4 940 IMC NB at about 23-24xxMHz and the mobo HT Link at about 1800-2000MHz
The mobo NB/chipset should not be ran any faster than stock clocks.
I hope this helps some.
Otherwise you can say it like this: "Thanks for the help PIO"
The NB on the motherboard itself = Bus Speed
HT = HT Multi x Bus Speed
CPU NB = NB Multi x Bus SpeedEdited by N2Gaming - 2/21/11 at 8:11pm
