damn unlocked i'm serious you should stop it... In some cases intels do perform better than amd, besides I would give this sempron up for a intel p4.
and also go with agp 8x pci-e would cost too much for you. When your using a pci-e graphix card it's not fully using the bandwidth of it.

Err, uh in light of AGP & pci-e...the only reason pci-e is better is because there aren't going to be any new cards for agp, only for pci-e. Pci-e won't give you any performance gains over agp 4x - the bandwidth provided by both are definitely excessive of modern-day games.

The only reason agp isn't future proof is because there won't be any new cards for it.

Your cpu is going to hold you back; however getting like an x800xt kind of card would be worth it.

Yes, he did.

Back on topic: I would not spend any more money on AGP or s478, even if it would be better then what you have now. If you have the money for a upgrade, save it and get PCI-E and s939/775.
