newbie asking question about RAM timing

Hey guys, i dont know what i would do without you guys! i have OZ tek ram with 2-3-2-5 timings, are these good for o/c? thanks for answers

You can probably make that ram 2-2-2-5 with a little voltage, but for overclocking youre going to have to loosen the RAM timings ANYWAYS because about the ONLY ram that can overclock with some tight ass timings are the GEIL ONE series ram, 1.5-2-2-5.

I can run 1.5 2 2 5, can't move up very far though
Those are great timings, they a low at stock so they will give you a little more headroom.

Most cases CAS 1.5 actually decreases performance a little over CAS 2, its good for bragging rights i suppose though.

Actually it was 272 which is very good for BH modules, for TCCD this is not possible.

You may wish to do some of you own real tests or read the threads here on OC.net on CAS1.5... it actually increases performance and while it is only marginal over CAS2, that difference does help when benching, esp in Pi runs....
