That motherboard is freaking awesome

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103428

get 2 of those cpus...

seems to me that the dual processor system is actually cheaper than the existing dual cores.....

for about the same system i get double the ram and maybe double the performance....

but most important question is whether games and applications can run on dual processor systems....and whether windows xp would be able to run on it like a normal system....

Oh man, If i could get that dual cpu system believe me i so would!

Yes, double the ram, and performance...overclockability is another issue, if you dont get that 2x1gb kit you could get 2x512x2 = 2gbs basically 4 512 sticks which would allow for a better overclock in that situation or you could go 2x2gbs for 4gbs/

YES games and applications can be run just fine on a dual cpu system as you can seperate processes between the cores, I am pretty sure windows xp will be able to run on it just fine. It would be just like any other true dedicated server in a game, theyre usually a decent size (not like this) but the concept is the same.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811152052

Youre going to need a case like that if you go with this set up I made for you . You might need to swap the 550W psu for that PC P&C 1KW psu...

this mobo is much cheaper http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131059
and you could combine the best of both worlds and get dual dual-core cpus
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103553
so if money is no issue.... get all those things.... and a 7800gtx 512mb and 4 (or 2)raid 0'ed WD Raptors pair that up with some good TCCD ram and good cooling and you'll have a great time! I'd also recommend a REALLY powerful PSU like a Silverstone Zeus, Truepower 2.0 550W, PC&C 850W or 1KW psu because this baby will pull up craploads of power!
