My local hardware store sells it. I have used it to lubricate the electrical connectors to my camper trailer.

$12.50 - Connector Protector
http://www.etrailer.com/Merchant2/me...Category_Code=

Quote:
The protective barrier of AGS Dielectric Sil-Glyde Connector-Protector compound is superior to external wraps, tapes, acrylics, and aerosol silicone oils because a solid film barrier is directly applied to both the male and female mating surfaces of the connection to lock out moisture and corrosion. Using dielectric grease on electrical connectors helps prevent corrosion and increases reliability.

I haven't used it myself but I know quite a few phase change guys who use vaseline in place of dielectric grease without any problems.

Ive never heard of anyone trying this, but what about epoxy? The clear type. I have a USB card-reader with a broken case - I completely covered the exposed PCB in epoxy, to prevent it shorting on anything metal. The covered PCB works perfectly, and this epoxy lasts for years with no change beyond slight discoloration. It sets hard, resistant to accidential damage... it should be a very good condensation-proofer, except for the slight problem of being completely impossible to remove if you apply it wrongly.
