problem, need help im a noob :-(

Thread Starter
Hi, recently i bought a monitor off eBay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=8724357158
As you can see, the monitor came without a power supply, and it needs a
19V/3A power supply.
So i went and bought
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1
This, which i thought would work, but it does not fit the back of my monitor
What can i do about it?
Do i need to buy a new adaptor, and if so could someone point one out to me (preferably on eBay)
Or can i simply buy an adaptor?
Thanks for any help i appreciate it a lot

Well, since its the right voltage, soldering is an option.
I'm not sure if someone will make an adapter for the different hole sizes, which I am guessing is the problem.

I recommend going down to radio shack and finding the right size plug that fits into your monitor and connecting the adapter that you have with another plug that will fit into your monitor.

** This really needs to be posted some where else.
