In the progression of the site update, the forum staff has decided to implement the use of Director's for each of the forum.

It's primarily a structural change to the organization of the site. Check out this thread for some more information. Also, the new folks, myself included, are helping to take the load off of admin and the "old" mods (who now serve as section directors and above in the new scheme). It takes a lot of work to keep the site running smoothly!

Yeah, now that we "Sub-Mods" have been getting used to our respective forums, we realize how much of a burden this forum was to just 5 people trying to keep a forum of this size in check. The mods and admin really don't get the respect they deserve, it is quite a huge job trying to mod one forum, never mind 1 person moderating 5+ forums.

It really is amazing that the site was modderated as well as it was and was still functional and evolving at the same time with so few people involved knowing what I know now. To the original team...

Maybe now that we have the help we need I can write that FAQ I have been working on. It is great to have more people keeping the forum in check.

We're here to take off some of the pressure the mods had beforehand. They not only had to do their mod job but they also had to deal with the increase of members joining the forum. Plus we've had a few mods retire which also increased their work load... oh yeah, plus they had to occasionally post things...

Yeah so now that we're here we've spread the work around.
