What are the recommended Amd939 Fans/Heatsinks when overclocking?

Ok i have never been successful with overclocking, i've had amd's and p4 and could never successfully overclock, probably because of the RAM choices i made before (very cheap). But now i have put some more money into it with my new rig. I have AMD 4000+ San Diego and i would like to safely overclock it. What fan/heatsink do you guys recommend. I’m thinking of getting one of these... thanks guys for replies!

I can't vouch for the Aquagate, but I have the 7700-Cu on my P4 and it runs nice and cool, as well as being quiet. It is rather large, however, so check clearance with other stuff on the mobo as well as other system components like the PSU.

You should also look at the XP-120 and if you do decide to get that heat sink, also get an 100+ CMF fan.

Hi, I was just browsing the site and decided to jump on the bandwagon. I built an AMD3500+ system about 9 months ago and have successfully overclocked it stable from 2.2 stock to 2.65 @ 1.5v. Temps with stock cooling went from 29c idle to 40c idle w/ the OC. and 53c at OC'd load.

I recently purchased a Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 pro and with that same overclock the temp went from 40 idle to 30 idle. So now the load is 40c. Those numbers are without the fan that comes with it, I have a 120mm fan at the back of my case, so i thought i would try it without the fan just for kicks. So it definately does a great job! I'm thinking i can kick it up a couple more hz and see what it does.

I've seen it reviewed against the TT Big Typhoon and it has equal the cooling power with less cost.
In fact its on sale here, (where i got it):
