ur temps are good man.....based on that and ur system....u should be easily touching 250 maybe even 265 if u r lucky....

Thanks for all the post! So it seems that the Zailman might be able to keep the thing cool enough at 250FSB. That is a 3.75 from a 3.0E. Seems like a large jump. But my Thermaltake case has 7 fans. One is right over the CPU fan.

What would be the advisable temperature max for this Presscot Chip?

3.0E is a pressie
they can handle 70c but thermal throttling starts around 65c

As Taeric said it's 65C. To be more exact it's 67.7C (from Intel's website).

Thermal throttling is where the CPU underclocks itself to prevent heat damage.

thermal throttling is when your CPU decreases its voltage or its multiplier (or both) when it reaches a critical temperature.
