Load temp should be below 50C. That means your cpu is too hot.

Reseat the heatsink, put on new thermal goop (do it right or it'll screw up temps), see if that helps. Good case air flow should help, but it's most likely the hsf's fault.

You are just below the mark. I would reinstal a fresh amount of AS5.

My old computer was a 2500 Barton that I ran 24/7 at 220 FSB with temps lower than yours (admittedly on a thermalright 947u). I would reseat the hsf and if that doesn't fix it look into getting a new one.

By the way what heat sink and fan are your using?

Keep it under 55c, upgrade your cooling system, it will help you get cooler temps, then you can go up with the overclock.

I would say hes on the stock cooler from those temps. momentten, check out the heatsink in my hardware review if you want a good cooler on a budget. i idled at 52c and load of 64 with the stock cooler and stock speeds, now i have an idle temp of 35c and load of 40c. and of course i used as5 on the installation.

for 50 you can get a big typhoon, which is arguably the best air cooler there is. but if you dont want to spend all your available money on a HSF, check this one out, i reviewed it where it says hardware reviews down here, there are other good ones out there too. the volcano is about 35, and the typhoon is on sale on newegg for 47.99 and free shipping right now, so if thats what you want, get it now, its usually more.
