So I decided to splurge today on a G500 to replace my trusty old G5 v2. But no less than a few hours after I buy it, I notice some issues already.
1. On my next reboot, the mouse pointer won't respond at all. The DPI light is flashing, and I have no idea what that means. Unplugging/plugging it back in resolves the issue temporarily, but I really wish I didn't have to do this every single time.
2. I cannot completely get rid of mouse acceleration. It's off on SetPoint and it was always off on Windows. However when I try moving the mouse around, I still get minor acceleration, which is really a dealbreaker for FPS gamers.
EDIT: Issue #2 resolved with a Firmware update (G9xMechaXFlash)
