I've heard the fatality boards have had some problems. Their intel boards are great, their AMD boards are....fey.

Reviews are mixed bag on the DFIs. Great potential, but they are like any other high-performance machine, very touchy.

The Asus has been getting rave reviews, with only a few mild problems.

I would save your money on the Fatality and just get the AN8-SLI...i picked it up for 115 on newegg and it is almost the same as the fatality....it doesnt have as many of the integrated red leds on it and has QOTES (which works just as good for me)

It really depends on how hardcore you want to be. If you're just a moderate overclocker the Asus or ABIT boards probably serve better since both require less tweaking however if you're hardcore, neither boards can match the options available by DFI. There is a reason why most hardcore overclockers choose DFI, I've also read about the horror stories but 5 experienced users I know (including myself) have not had anything but success with the Expert.

Honestly in my opinion (and usage) the Fatal1ty is an OK board if you dont OC< the DFI is a great board (like all others) and id just stay away from Asus.

Asus is good, but has the worst tech support ever.
Gotta go with Asus as well, unless like he said you wanna go HARCORE overclock, then DFI, don't personally know anyone with Abit, so can't recommend it myself.
