motherboard,dram,, & processor help

Thread Starter
Hi, I am very new to this and have a question or two. first I would like to tell you about the guts of my Computer. I have an MSI 865pe/g Neo3, ms-6728 (v3.X) ATX motherboard, with a intel pentium4 HT processor 3.00GHz,2.98GHZ, 512 MB ram, running MS Win XP Pro SP2, my Hard drive is a ATA sata 200GB hd, my sound card is built in and it is Realtek AC'97 audio, and a radeon 9250 graphics card.
In the Bios settings there are two sections I do not understand and was hoping For some help. #1. dram timing setting, cas#latency 2.5 Clocks, ras# recharge 3 Clocks, ras# to cas# 3 Clocks, Precharge delay 8 Clocks, Burst Length 8 Clocks what does this mean and does it have to do with overclocking? and #2. what is and what would happen if I "load High Performance Defaults"? And what would be the first thing to do to over clock or does it really need it?

Thx Chris

your best bet would be not to overclock but to get another graphics card if the money is there
