Is Big typhoon the best air cooler?

Well ive ordered mine already but ive been checkin the net for reviews and i stumbled on this website

it looks like Thermalright SLK-948U is better

The Big typhoon is the best air cooler you can get.

Its also cheap, and therefore beats the Zalmans in price too.

look at the fan they used on the thermalright. it was 110cfm & 55dba, twice that of the typhoon. there were some people here on this forum that put a 135cfm fan on their typhoon and got a 5c drop from that, that would make the typhoon better. the other one is pretty dang good though.

Be careful judging a cooler on 1 review because it's impossible to give equal seating. Air pockets,not enough AS5,too much AS5,didn't spread properly,etc can skew the results. Look at several reviews and then compare. The Big Typhoon is at the top of every review consistently,so it can't be a fluke.

I have used about all there is out there, and so far the Big Typhoon is it, I have a 135cfm fan on mine overclocked to 3.0ghz, folding 24/7 the most it gets is 43c.

I just looked at that graph Those aren't temperatures, the y-axis is decibel rating. That's showing the noise,not the cooling

I'll be damned, I actually clicked on the link and those ARE temps. They're testing in a controlled temperature,so the room really was low 20's. I assumed it was sound since the axis wasn't labelled. Surprising really, but like I said, take 1 review with a grain of salt.
