I just got to 2600 on my SD. Are the temps good? I'm resetting the HS over xmass vacation with silver compound , so the temps should be better.

Uh I wouldn't expect 48C load with a BT, what's your ambient temp? I definitely think reseating with AS would help. Also, make sure your case flow is decent...don't want to be sucking in hot air now do we...

Wow, your vcore is really high. I run my SD 260x10 with only 1.43 vcore! Looks like I have a similiar motherboard. Does it really need that much to be stable? My setup is Prime95 stable 12+ hours.

CPU temps are pushing it, you might want to ease up a bit until you get that HS reseated. But Congrats on your overclock!

BTW, in your signature it says 2200 Hz....LOL sorry just pointing out useless things.

I get an rounding error if the vcore isn't that high, might be able to back it down a notch. anything else cuase that error? Back to stock now till I reset the HS and move stuff around for better flow. I know about the HS issue Because I run at stock of 33 idle and 40 load. 70f in the room.

Maybe bump up the vdimm and the chipset voltage a notch or two. I'm running 1.43 vcore, 2.9 vdimm, and 1.75 chipset voltage. My memory is 1:1, which means that its running at 260 mhz too, but its DDR500, rated to run up to 250 mhz, so I'm not really pushing it. I'd try to bump up the voltages and see if that helps. Maybe raising your chipset voltage will let you lower your vcore.

Give it a little time ...
You may find a sweet spot at a lower vcore.
A small + is to disable anything in the BIOS you don't use, like COM, LTP ports, etc...
A small bump on the NF bridge chip may help stability too!

I'm just about as high as I can go on vdimm and chipset I can go. The newest Bios has higher values, for some reason will allow me to change the multi( 10x etc ) but when I boot up will only be a value of 5x no matter what I set it to. Should I try an beta bios before the last one and see if that works?

You should only be able to reduce the multiplyer... going above the default won't work ... or 1/2 locked, down but not up

I guess I have to settle for this for now till I get the case and HS squared away. Wife hates me messing about in the pc , I'll have to wait till she is at work.
