Sticking with Intel for a while...

Thread Starter
Yeah I figured forget paying 700 dollars to make a new, full system. Instead of getting a 360, I'm getting a gig of some nice RAM, and a nilla 6800, plus a little AS maybe, and it's only going to cost 300 dollars. Go me! Smart Shopper! lol well yeah I'm kind of excited now, I can just keep my Proc Oced, and unlock my vid card and I should still be in the game. Forget UT2007...

A 6800 Vanilla should run UT2K7 just fine, don't worry.

You might want to wait for the X1600. It costs about the same as the 6800 but performs better.
Very nice!

That would work but he is using AGP. I agree with the x1600xt. I would wait.

Lol isn't that a PCIe Card? Why would I wait, or is their going to be an AGP revision too?

Well either way, how long would I have to wait to get an order in on the AGP Versions? Also, I still have an old CRT monitor, and it's got basic composite output, no S-Video, so like... Where could I get an adapter and how much would it cost?

I'd get the 6800GS it's coming out in agp form soon, and it performs the same as tht 6800GT. in pcie form it only costs about 210 (which I believe is only about 40 more than a vanilla 6800) and it should cost about the same for agp.
