Leadtek Winfast A400 LE TDH 6800LE

Thread Starter
I just saw this card and it dirt cheap actually cheaper than a 6600gt.
Leadtek Winfast A400 LE TDH nVidia GeForce 6800LE 8xAGP 256-bit 128MB DDR w/TV + DVI.

I was just wondering whether it is worth it or should i go for a 6600gt. Will it OC well since its a LE car?

One last question, anyone knows when nvidia are going to make a 7600 card for people with a limited budget>

a 6800le has a chance to be able to unlock certain pipes which will improve the overall performance, and it will overclock a bit, but as it's ddr1 and not ddr3, the mem won't reach high frequencies... still i guess you'll be better off buying a 6800le

I don't have an idea when the 7600 card will be released, to tell you the truth, i never heard of it... google it and let me know if you find somthing

the later you leave to upgrade, the better the system you'll have when you decide to upgrade. there is no way of changing the rem modules to ddr3 as they are in-built.... check some faq's about modding a 5700 to a 5700ultra...

the new 8series will have ddr4 memory.. meaning higher than 1.6Ghz frequency in memmory... can't wait ... plus games will soon evolve to dual-core gaming.. meaning have an X2 AMD or equivalent Intel will be recommended for gaming
