Cant get DFI expert to run in SLI need input

Thread Starter
I just finished loading up my new DFI expert and opt 170,,, got a fresh install of windows and got all my drivers installed. I flashed to a know working bios from 11-17 and I just cant get nvidia to see that im running SLI?

I am not sure if it is a bios thing or what not but I have all the newest drivers up and running. It also sees two video cards in device manager but it wont give me the option to enable them in SLI mode,,, any advice would be great?

also I cant get smart guardian to run im not sure if its a windows x64 issue or what not but does anyone know of another monitoring program I can use?

demonbane23 to enable SLi, you need to go into your Genie BIOS setting and below the voltage control, chang ethe PCI eXpress Configuration to "8-4-NC-8".

As for temperature monitoring if Smart Guardian doesn't work try Motherboard monitor.

That's great to hear.

Make sure you post some of your 7800GT SLI numbers in the benchmark section!

everything else seems to be running great,,, i ran some quick sandra tests and it is right up to par with where it should be and I havent overclocked at all yet. It took a little while to get all the drivers and x64 drivers in,,but it is super smooth now.

I will probably start tweaking with settings and overclocking tonight just to put it through its paces....

as for the board itself the layout is great,,, It is much roomer then the asus I had and I can actually use he other PCI slots when I have my SLI cards in,, temps seem good and hopefully the overclocking goes well

ill let you know when I start messing with stuff

Hey i tried to enable sli on the board by making the pci express thing 8-4-nc-8 and when the computer turned on, the welcome screen doesnt show up. The computer itself is working but the video cards arent displaying the video. any reasons why?
