Thread Starter
Does this ram work with my Winchester AMD 3500+?

???
EDIT: Sorry for the double post but I need to give my christmas list to somebody and I need new ram. I'm thinking about 1 gig so two sticks of 512mb. If any of you have better suggestions please tell me.

I would say they are fine for value RAM, if your looking to do any overclocking you need better RAM in my opinion.

edit- if your getting 1gb total, I would get a kit to make sure you get a matched pair.

Well if you already have 1 gig of ram like your sig says and you plan on adding 1 gig more, I would highly recommend getting the same ram so no compatibility issues arise.

A kit is a pair of matched memory sticks - For running dual-channel. Check the PCB ( Circuit board ) of the stick. U may find the manufacturer name there. But its better to sell ur old one and get a pair of matched memory ( 1 GB Kit ) to get it up and running without any complications.

Also, download CPU-Z from www.cpuid.com and check the Manufacturer under the SPD tab. U'll come to know of the chip manufacturer from there.
