To help you with overclocking, if the computer doesn't POST hold down the insert key on the keyboard when trying to boot. That'll reset the board to default speeds.

thats a good tip thanks! Have you ever had to increase the NF4 voltage? is it somthing thats normal to do, cause i uped it my .05 and now its posting. im assuming this is ok, i uped the vcore by 3.3% so to up the nf4 seems ok, anyway thanks for that insert tip im sure ill need to use it

Scratch that question about the NF4, im still having post problems even with upping it, the only speed i dont get post problems on is 2.0 GHZ, anything above that even with upping Vcore, changing ram timings, wont post 100% of the time. i think im just going to maybe sell the winchester on Ebay and get a venice, see if that bug is causing my problem

Oh wow, i went back and read your post and i didnt realize the problem only lies in the bios, and i can just clock it with somthign else. I will try that now, my mistake

Using clockgen do i have to set PCI value to 33 or just let it overclock it and since its locked in my MB it will be ok?

When using ClockGen and changing HT Speeds AND the PCI speed changes from 33 upwards then this is not locked and will be a factor as to why you cannot boot.

Check the BIOS and make sure this is fixed and if you have an AGP this is set to 66Mhz as well.

Great, got it to work. I ran prime95 for 8 hours over night and when i woke up the fan speed in my core center said 1200 RPM? my temps were a little high. i shutdown and cleaned all my fans but the CPU fan wasnt that dirty, its only 4 months old or so. do you think it was a misreading? or should i just keep my eye on it and see if it goes down again, seems strange it would fail after 4 months
