If you click scan for artifacts, will ATI TOOL decrease the clock if it detects a artifact, just like when it finds max core?

No it will not it will just tell you how many artifacts it finds per frame i think.

When i do find max core, It keeps going up with and doesnt detect any arty's. My x800xl get ups to 435 core easy but i turn it off because im scard lol.

What should do? I think it's doing it because i put Zalman cooler on it but......
