Well before I had a craptastis psu with 14 amp 12 rail, and output of 430 watts for my system. before I could only go as high as 250 fsb or 2250Mhz. I tried 2.4 but the computer couldn't prime for more then a min before an error.
FYI

So how far can you go now? Your chip is likely very similar to mine...I didn't think twice about getting my fortron though so I don't have any comparison.

No idea what I'll hit, but my chip does have some difernces from yours. It's a paris core, When AMD first came out witht the socket 754 Semp's. Review on the web show it hitting 2.5 on air with little voltage. So we will see.

I think the differences of our cpus are yours may be 90nm where mine is 130nm, also our caches may be different, mine is 256, is yours 128? or the moe expensive semp 64 with 256??

I'll keep it updated on what I get too.

Ah a Paris. Yeah the only differences are: 90nm vs 130nm, SSE3 vs. none. Not much...should still overclock similarly provided you have good cooling..

Hopefully water is good

Load temps are 40-41 right now, never been more then 43 ever with the water on a warm day.

I noticed on your suicide shot you went up too 1.85 v on a 90nm core on air!!!!!!!

That is suicide, good thing semps are cheap.

EDIT: Well it looks like 2400 is the limit for ram 1:1. I tried loosening ram and putting it on a divider but when I hit 2500 it wasn't stable for more then 2 mins in prime. So 2400 is where I'll stay. Now I'll see if my x800 will do any better with the better power.
