No exclamation marks in device manager. Such an obscure mobo anyway. A mere passing whim.

Limited voltage options...+.05, +.1, +.15, and that's it. On the one I was working on the P5KPL-AM clock gen didn't work. Graphical corruption as soon as I tried it - bands of horizontal pastel colours took over the screen - forced restart.

HI, sorry for newbish question, i stumbled on this thread by accident when i looked for my mobo sensor. I was wondering if it can fix improper fsb fluctuations?

From what i saw its some internal clock adjuster or OC tool in windows, but i would like to know more biggrin.gif

Well i have a problem, i just cant OC pass 445mhz fsb without high pitch sound freeze.. Sometimes i can mild this effect if i raise adv timings and set cpu clock skew to 50ps (anything more is worse), lets say 450 or 455 or 465mhz, but still get this freeze, sometimes sooner sometimes after 50min..


Could this program help and overcome this issue?

This is how it looks atm at 445mhz fsb (ram 1068mh), i didnt touch anything in the application

Normally this software tool is used for one shot highest cpu frequency attempts. you boot into a known working oc with vcore at least set to max and then incrementally raise fsb, validating all the way, untill you crash/bluescreen/freeze.... Eliminates the stresses of constant reboots....
Doubt it would help for a 24/7 OC.

You have 8GB of RAM on Turbo setting? PC-8500 (1066MHz) running at max with that OC? Lot of RAM. Is it needed for a particular use?
I suspect a higher OC with RAM set on lower divider, also Standard, not Turbo, for RAM and manually set timings once OC is established. Less RAM can give higher OC too.
Not being a Quad overclocker, suspect 3.6 for a 9450 probably not bad. The 9550 is Quad OC King isn't it?

I see, yes 8gb ram and Turbo setting,..

Yes this mobo supports max 8gb ram and needs lower freq., Gigabyte told me this as well, they said when 8gb in use 1.9v is the max recommended and 800mhz... But i wanted to use this cpu as long as i can and able to use high OC too biggrin.gif

The funny thing is i had ram at 1092mhz (cpu at 3.64ghz) and loosen adv timing and it passed all benchmarks, but when i started some intense games with lots of ram it failed (Battlefield3 MP)., sometimes 15min sometimes 45 or even whole day fine, but on next power on its back..

Ah well, guess i'll stick with 1068mhz ram @ 2.2.v and cpu at 3.56ghz, its still nice for daily usage.

Hi, sorry for the question which here probably already fallen several times. My problem is English.
Looking Glock name generator for my name NTB asus, motherboard K70AF, 780G chipset, south bridge SB7020.
I would like using SetFSB to increase processor performance at least in part, this is probably the only way. Unfortunately, in my country is the lack of information on the subject. Thanks for possible help
