No point in getting 4gbs as they will not be addressed. Windows has a limit that it is able to address.

Do you really need the hassle of phase change? Just get some awesome silent water-cooling and you should be fine...

Not when he can push his X2 to 3.2+ gHz. That is a 4.8+ gHz Pentium D.
Watercooling wont break 3 gHz, atleast I think it wont.
Besides, the LS is very hassleless...

4 Gigs has it's drawbacks, if you OC and.... unless you do CAD or VID editing you wont see much use for more than 2x1gig modules.
Remember, the more modules and the higher the volume the lower the overall timings will be.

Isn't OC Newbie selling a VGA phase change unit?

Also, you might want to go for the X-Fi FATAL1TY, with its 64mb of RAM

If you are overclocking it anyways, I would suggest a 4400+ for $497 on newegg, it has a x11 multi rather than the x12 of your 4800+ but it will overclock to the same. With X12 you can do 3GHz with just 250FSB but with x11 you will need 275 on the FSB which is no problem on that DFI. I think that will put you right under budget

Also, I agree with SpartnChief, XFI Fatal1ty FPS for sure. Especially with that high end of a system.

If i had the chance to get 4gb of ram i definetly would, whether it was worth it or not i think it would be awsome to have 4gb of ram. I like ram almost as much as i like video cards (even though i dont really have any ram)
