Should I get a reservoir at all? Would it make much of a difference?

The X-Fi FATAL1TY looks pretty nice too, other than the price tag. I may see if I can squeeze it in there somehow. Not too sure what to do with the ram yet. It seems everyone in here has a different opinion. I'll probably go with the 4 gigs, and make it a little more future proof.

I reservoir will not drastically help you, pretty much none at all. All most all reservoirs do is make it easier to fill and bleed the system, even though a T line is easy already. They are mostly there for looks.

4 gigabytes of RAM won't register in Windows XP 32-bit at all. There is no point in getting 4 gigabytes right now, but in the future when you get 64-bit Edition or Vista, the price of the same RAM you will buy now will be cheaper, so it's better to just buy 2 gigabytes now and sit on it.

I think I will just get 2 gigs. And upgrade the ram to a ddr 500 instead of 400.I was thinking about this RAM

If you're gonna drop that kinda coin on a machine and aren't doing it until January, I'd hold off and get the new ATI or Nvidia cards coming out. That's just messed up to spend that much and be outdated the month you buy it

Some thing smay change to include the graphics cards, if better things come out before I buy the stuff, and I can afford the new stuff, then I'll get the new.

Do you think you'll be able to cap out on an 11X cpu multiplier? If not, you can save $280 by getting this and get the same speed...
