[MGP] Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 – Android

Sony Ericsson have released a video to hint at their latest device with the official announcement coming tomorrow on the 3rd of November.

Originally and across the internet the device has been ID’ed as the X3 however it is evident that the X3 was not an official name nor codename. The new device is actually the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and definitely not the X3 or Rachael as it’s become known. Why the change in naming convention? Well it’s the first SE to run on Google’s Android OS.

Official specs are not yet available however from the video we can guess:

* a microUSB port
* 3.5mm audio jack.

Rumoured specs hint at:

* 4.1 inch touch screen display
* 1GHz snapdragon processor
* 8.1 Megapixel camera

Will the X10 launch with Android 2.0 (Eclair)? We’ll let you know.
YouTube Video in link. Expect to see more information tomorrow
