Have you run a virus scan? and also a spyware scan?

If you can find the physical position on the HDD of the virus you should be able to delete it using a file shredder

You could try 'hijack this' - just post here on what it says after it does a scan and well tell you which process to stop.

I suggest you disable the Auto Reastore feature and do scans in Safe Mode.
A good anti virus scann and Ad-Aware should do it!
Repeat the scans in the opoosite order a secod time.
HiKAck This wii help expose any possible BHO or other undesirable entreie in the Regestry and saved files/folders.
