Thread Starter
I would like to know if my laptop could handle the game borderlands.

intel centrino duo t2300 @ 1.66ghz
2 gb ram
x1400 mobility radeon

I've become addicted to the game and want to play it all of the time.

Thanks in advanced and will get +rep to those who give good info to me.

Don't think so. Maybe on super low res with super low settings? =/

Can't hurt to try if you already have the game though, right? Give it a shot.

Likely not. If you do its going to be very slow.

well the minimum specs say you should be able to. You have double the ram your supposed to, double the processor and a gen ahead in the gfx card department. I would give it a try

My bad... ?

I'm guessing you're playing at a friends? I don't know if it'd be against the EULA or whatever to install it (temporarily) on your laptop with his copy just to see if it runs. Then buy it if it does.

Seeing as there's no demo, it's the only way to find out if it will run acceptably...

Even with really low res you are going to get really really bad FPS. My current laptop is a 2 GHz core2 duo with a X1400 and wont run at any playable fps on it. Its a great game but you need some semi decent hardware to run it.

I'd buy the box at the store, so you can resell maybe if it's just unplayable?

Not 100% sure if the brick and mortar version attaches to steam automatically.
