Strange temps reported is this normal???

I am running the rig in my sig currently overclocked to 2.6 ghz and at Idle im getting 17c - 19c ,,, reported in bios, mbm5 and systools,,,,

whem i am under full load from,,, prime, sandra, systools or other stress tests the highest i have hit is 26c ,,, shouldnt a dual core running overclocked be a tad bit hotter then this to say the least...

my cooling is as follows,,, I have the Swiftech H20-apex extreme kit running a storm water block and its the only block in the loop. I also have a 120mm fan that is pointed at the board and is hitting the memory dimms and the Waterblock to keep my ballistix nice and cool,,,

Should I worry about these readings and if they arent true how do I get a true reading?.... or am i just not pushing it hard enough,,,

also to take note is my chipset is a steamy 43c,,, i think mainly becasue the little cooling fan is in between my SLI 7800's,,, is that to high?

The reason I asked about the stock bios is because sometimes stock bios can give inaccurate readings and a lot of the times flashing to a newer bios fixes the problem but if you flashed to a new a bios and still the sam then maybe a bad sensor.

it doesen't have to heat up when u overclock you know...

i read somewhere on this forum some guy sprayed the air in a can stuff on the heatsink that froze it, and it took about 5-10 mins for it to heat back up

maybe you just have really good conductivity. keep overclocking!

and if the temps are too high, it will shut off the system anyways. or feel the side of the heatsink with ur fingers, thats how i always tell if unsure about temps

Those temps are unrealistic with water cooling and that particular chip.

dont get me wrong it is some really good water cooling,,, dual 120mm radiator,, and the swiftech pump and storm water block but it just seems to low,,,,like yo said,.,,, then again I got the same kind of temps when overclocking my 820d on the asus p5n32-sli with the exact watercooling circuit,, I just figured the temp gauge was off that time as well,,

but still my idle should be much higher,, im at a lose

room temp is around 60 F ,,, but im running open case at the moment and im at 23c and dual priming,,, at 2.67 ghz,,, so i would think something is not reading right lol,,, but im not sure if my prime is set right i run the blend test yet it like never gets past 2% CPU utilization at the moment it keeps running RAM test and im getting low virtual memory warnings,,,

Also i can leave prime running for 2 hours and there will be like 4 lines on the screen and only one test past,,, its weird is my settings wrong on prime?

im gonna run large FTT test
