power led not working properly?

Ok this is a small and insignificant problem but it bothers me lol.
You know how there is a green (power led light) and a orange (hdd led light)
well only one is working. At the beginning only the Power LED worked and not the HDD Led. So I decided why not change it, maybe I got it in backwards. well after looking at it everything seemed to be hooked up properly. Restarted and now only my HDD LED is on ^^. Does anyone know what the problem is haha? Am I missing a cable or am I just to dumb to read the manual? Does it matter in which direction I put the cables in(writing is facing south of my board)?

Ok this is what I got from reading that: the power led worked but the HDD didn't, you switched them and the HDD led came on and the power led didn't.

If thats the case then one of them is not plugged in correctly or if they're both in correct then the motherboard isn't sending the signal to one of them. If thats the case and you switch them the led for the power would light up and if you put the hdd into the power position it would light up.

It sounds like you have one bad LED. You can try the above. Ig that doesnt work you can replace the LED. Get one from radio shack that is about the same size

You can try inverting the position of the plugs. That happened to me once.
