Is this mobo any good in terms of ocing and performance?

Biostar from what I understand it's the best at OC. If you have the money you should look at a MSI or DFI Motherboard. They are both known to overclock very well

That is right. They are Not the best at overl****ing. MSI anf DFI motherboards are known to be good at overclocking. If you look at some profiles on overclock you will the some of the best motherboards.I have abit MB myself but it's 745 so I can't help you a whole lot. I just know what I read here

Why don't u get this. Not too much extra to spend and u get a board which is wayyyyyyy better - The ABIT AN8 with NF$ Ultra chip.

I would do it if you are on a budget.
It should let you OC to at least 2.5GHz
