You should name your character House. Make him a grey-haired human and make his portrait look like this (you can actually do this! move the slider all the way to the right):

Character names aren't to difficult to change.

Disclaimer: You ax your save file, your fault, not mine. Just here to relay the information!!!

Anyways, to make this go seamlessly, you should probably get rid of all save files except for your most recent one. If you want to keep multiple saves, you'll have to edit them all individually.

Anyways. You need to get your hands on a program called Dragon Age Toolset. This allows you to edit (and create) game files. Go ahead and open this program.

File>Open

Browse to My Documents>Bioware>Dragon Age>Characters>[Your Character Name]>Saves>[Save File to Edit (e.g. Slot_1)]

You are going to open both <Character Name>.das and <Character Name>.das.met

You'll see something akin to the windows registry.

Edit these entries:

<Character Name>.das:
SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR>SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR>SAVEGAME_O BJECT_NAME

Where you see your characters name, change only the name to what you want

<Character Name>.das.met:
SAVEGAME_META_NAME

Again, change your current name to the one you wish. Go ahead save these files. Everything should work fairly well now! If I missed anything critical feel free to add!

Also, just for fun, under: SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR>SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR>SAVEGAME_D EFAULT_SOUNDSET and SAVEGAME_PLAYER_SOUNDSET Allow you to change your characters voice! For example, you could have it at ss_pc_mdwarf_exp and change it to ss_pc_felf_sultry and listen to your manly dwarf talk like a seductive elf woman!

Again, any modifications to these files could ruin your save game. That's your fault. Cope =]

Thank you very much. Works perfectly.
