Not even close to what is going on with Fermi which already has fully operational silicon and is on track for launch.

The logic and information in that article is flawed and has been debunked several times.
Fermi has been delayed to the point where no one cares but you.

People want to spend money this X-mas, and Fermi isn't getting any of it.

January-April... erm.. to me that says nvidia has no idea when it will be ready but just guessing around a 3-4 month time frame lolz im hoping for a april 1st release "cough"

my next decision will be based on benchmarks of fermi when released, if they only perform marginaly better then the 5xxx series, i would invest my money and time in ati... time will tell

This isn't religion, its a video card manufacturer.

If the high-end Fermi wasn't as fast as the high-end ATi at the time Fermi is released, and they were both the same price, you'd still go Nvidia? Might I ask why?

"Woot, it's so funny that Fermi failed because there's no competition and prices can stay inflated!"

Logic: What fanboys don't have.

Crytek supported AMD processors back when they released Far Cry. who knows, it could happen.

My HD4890 maxes out Crysis at 20FPS at 1080p, I'm sure that RV870, let alone Fermi, can max it out at 1080p.
