Overstock.com deal?

Seagate Cheetah 73GB SCSI Hard Drive

This looks like a great deal to me, but i thought i would ask you guys before I spen my hard earned $60.

Well, If you have a server or PC capable of 80-Pin SCSI, Sounds pretty good to me.

But if you plan on buying that and a basic 32-Bit PCI SCSI adapter, I wouldn't agree, As the card would limit it to the same speeds as a basic ATA-100 drive.

Agreed. The PCI adapters really limit the speed and aren't too friendly. I'd suggest going with a SATA drive- your motherboard has support for it, a little more user friendly and in RAID 0 (even number of drives act as one) they're blazing fast.
