1. Runs will be made using only 1x GPU [so X2's will have to use only 1x core]
2. Scores will be tallied for the highest score in each bracket, as well as the highest GPU and CPU scores for the comp.
3. Limit 3x submissions per person [per bracket] for the duration of the contest...so 'tune' carefully
. No limit to # of class' enteredYou might want to keep a high score in reserve..
4. Screen shots must show the following to be considered valid: paint shot of the AM3 score..GPU-Z..CPU-Z and your name. Those that submit benchies for the OCN hwbot team, will be eligible for prizes.

*as mentioned previously in pre-thread discussion... Aquamark3 is CPU bound...so DO NOT get discouraged by your GPU.
There is little to no difference in results when comparing a GTX260 to a GTX285, or a 4870 to a 5870...so long as CPU speed is constant. You will be wise to focus on tuning for latency, at your highest stable CPU speed.... 
Last but not least, some prizes and cash has already been donated for winnings...they will be added into the winnings and distributed with the rest of the winnings.

You would be fine with pretty much any GPU considered "mid range" on the performance chart. Check out the submissions already on HWBot...you might find something that suits you price-wise and is still competitive.
