Hi all,
I have a Dell Optiplex GX620 with a 3.0Ghz Pentium IV 64bit (socket 775)
I would like to Up grade to a Pentium D or better but can not find any help
form Dell...

The fastest CPU it can take is Pentium D 960

Get the newest BIOS update from the Dell website, and that will solve your dilemma.

A Pentium D is the latest and fastest CPU your motherboard will support. If you wanted anything faster you would have to replace the motherboard. Given the BTX design of your case that would be very difficult.
