The 6600 256mb is going to be the best PCI-E card you'll find for that price. Or maybe a 6600gt or 6800 used?

I think that it would runs fine on the medium setting.. but hey since you only have £80 to spend i think that xfx 256mb geforce 6600 is your best choice. Otherwise like what accskyman said get a used 6600gt or 6800 on ebay.

One interesting card is the new 6600 DDR2 recently launched by Nvidia to match the ATI Radeon X1300 Pro.

the following quote was taken from this website
Quote:
The new Nvidia 6600 DDR2 card boosts the core clock rate from the orginal 6600 by 50MHz, bringing the core to 350 MHz, and the memory by 300 MHz to 800 (effective of course). The new 6600 has 8 pipes and 3 vertex shaders like that of the older version, and sports 256 MB of memory over a 128 bit bus.
http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Ha...600ddr2/7.html
Quote:
This little 6600 definitely gave us what we deserve though, as we reached 6600 GT speeds on the core - our card topped out at exactly 500 MHz! Everything was completely stable at this speed, and the chips cooler was just barely warm. We managed a still impressive 102 MHz overclock on the memory, but this is still 98 MHz short of 6600 GT speeds. Regardless, the fact that this card was able to reach near GT spec while still remaining cool and stable is amazing.
I used to have a plain 6600 (DDR) and I exchanged it for the DDR2 for a difference of only 7 USD ! This card is worth every penny ! Check it out.

6600gt pci-e runs at 500 core stock, and will probably run at 600 easy OC as long as you have good air flow, which is what that case looks like it will do.

I've heard that there isn't much difference between 128 and 256 cards, except for large rendered games like BF2 on higher setting. this card will run everything well, granted you have a decent processor at about 3 ghz intel.

and for the best price...check out ebay.co.uk

EDIT: XXX edition runs real good, but not quite the price to performance ratio of the 6600gt regular
