Stability issues

Thread Starter
Hello,
i have had my set up for a little over a month and every thing was running fine with my over clock. One day i opened up COD4 (i play it often) and it was major laggy. I then tried it on singleplayer same thing, cant even move. I dont get what my issue is. I had my ram on 1067 Mhz before but tried upping it to 1600 Mhz which killed my stability totaly.
Im asking how to fix two issues here, one is getting the ram to run at 1600Mhz and the other is how to get COD running. Here is my setup:

cpu: i7 920
memory: patriot memory viper series ddr3 pc3-12800 1600Mhz rated 6GB (3X2GB) kit
Mobo: EVGA x58 sli x3
GFX: EVGA GTX 260
Cool master v8 (runs below 65C with load)

Bios:

Running above 1.65V for the memory can kill your processor!

It won't help, it'll just stop killing your processor. You'll have to sell that RAM and get new models specified to run at or under 1.65V to get 1600MHz.

If CoD4 is still crashing then it's not stable. Can you take a screenshot of the SPD tab on CPU-Z please?
