Its actually only 46,000 right now. It'd be even faster than that.

Hm, I'm a strong believer in the ends justifying the means. Whilst it would be nice to have a strong moral belief in it too, believer or not, if they're crunching WUs, that's enough for me.

Fair enough I guess - and it shouldn't really matter which team people are folding for because in the end it goes towards a fantastic cause.

^This.

When I started folding in September all I had was a 4890 and SMP (Win client of all things) on a Athlon xII 6400+. Took me quite some time to get my postbit. That's all changed now of course as I'm basically a folding junkie with more hardware than money.

It took me like a month and a half to get that, even going 24/7.

Our morale, camaraderie, and team spirit will be the determining factors in our future growth and production in F@H. We could use more encouragement, and positive thinking in our approach to expand. Maybe we should let threads like this fizzle out and start new ones that add optimism and fresh outlooks in regards to our future.

Sure, but my sig rig is going on two years old right now. It isn't exactly high-end anymore, you could probably build my system today for $800-$900USD.
