i made this whole list out of fsb, multiplier, and i kinda need help with some core v settings for certain speeds and mulitpliers... i can try to list it, but it could be a little hard with this. here it goes....wish me luck!! i can only get my board to go to 219 without problems...i thought it would go faster. anbd my multiplier wont go over 12.5...i thought this bad boy was unlocked for its week?? not sure.

Best thing to do is test it at each point. Once you overclock (5MHz at a time works best for me), run Prime95 on it to get the CPU load up to 100%. Watch it for about 30 minutes and if it gives you an error, go into the BIOS and run the test again. If after 30 minutes you do not receive an error, go back into the BIOS and raise it another 5MHz, then run the test again. It's going to take some time, just be patient with it.

Not every chip is manufactured the same and not every motherboard is the same. Your PSU is going to play a big part in this too, if it's not supplying clean stable power to your components you are probably going to have to raise your vcore a lot higher than others with solid PSUs.

You're best approach is to just experiment with your settings and see how your components like it.

aznchowboy...did you not read? it is a guide for 32 400fsb procs...those who have this certain proc complain because everyone has 333(166)and clock it...not the 400(200)

AMD64's go up to 300 HTT, but Athlon XP's i've not seen go that high...... plus 2.6 GHz on a Barton 3000+ ain't that bad of an overclock.

i could obtain 2.6 gig on this, if my system would cooperate. it wont go anywhere with fsb higher than 210 and multiple at 10.5 and higher, so im screwed. i even tried adjusting the voltages, but still nothing. right now i have it ocd at...205x11.5...and not stable. i ran prime95 and three seconds later...bam..failure. and my voltage is at 1.75...the lowest setting that would allow me to boot and stay. any suggestions? oh, i cant get 13x...it defaults to 5x, even though that isnt even listed in the bios. how do i change this? an uber bios?

update bios. also dont' use .5 dividers if possible. loosen your memory timings. also drop your CPU multi way down and see how high you can jack up your fsb. try those few things and then get back....

The desktop version may need it's near max (1.8x) or max voltage (1.9) to get any furthere.
Always keep below 55c under full load and that will dictate the max vcore you can apply.
BTW, yes, those temps are very odd
