Unstable Voltages?

According to speedfan when im idle my voltages are.
12V=12.34-.52
3.3=1.33-.56
Vcc=5.12 stable?
5vsb=4.75-.90
this is on a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182003
which is loaded with sata2 drive about 3 80mm's 1 amd stock 70mm fan 1 120mm some cool master fan with 2 fans on one caseing little 40mm ramdac fan
4 512 sticks of ram @ 2.6-.7 cpu at 1.5-.55 v 7800gt oced 1x cd burner
need more power or what?

Chosen those voltages are all over the place and your +3.3V line is definitely low. Do you have access to a multimeter? If so it would be wise to take voltage readings directly to verify the software numbers. If a multi/volt meter is not available, I would inquire with Newegg for a RMA.

I would DEFINTELY get a digital multi so you can measure. I measured what the software said and what my multimeter said, the software was off by about .20 volts. It's a big difference. I would not trust Speedfan at all, as it has not read my voltages well either. Download Motherboard monitor 5 and see what the voltages are.

To measure the +3.3V voltage of your power supply, with your computer on stick the a probe into the back of one of the orange (that's the +3.3V line)wires on the main 20/24 pin connector. Stick the ground probe into any one of the black wires (or you can connect to teh ground on a molex).

To test the 12V voltage, put one probe into the yellow line on the molex and the ground probe into the black. The 5V voltage can be measured through the red wire on the molex. If your PSU has multiple railes, testing can be a bit more difficult, to get the most accurate results, use the ATX12V connector to measure voltages.

well in order to test the voltages it's got to be on... if it's off you won't read anything... or shouldn't (except for the line that constantly gives the mobo power... keeps the little LED on.)
