I'm trying to figure out which fan to get for the Big Typhoon.

http://xoxide.com/120mm-nidec-fan.html

Will that one fit?

It will fit. But unless they provide screws for you, you will need to get some new ones. the stock Big Ts screws will not work since the nidec is 120x38 and the stock fan is 120x25.

the screws could work if you had a little carving spree with your fan's screw holes I wouldnt advise it though.

It will deffinatley fit, all 120mms will. They will work and that's what I'm using now for my beasts. You'll have to not slide it through the top like normal. Slide it through the bottom hold of the fan only. Then get a (skinny) skrew driver and skrew it in. I put the skrew driver through the top hole so it was right over the the bottom holes. If you can take anything from that, good or if you want a pic i'll make one.

It's certainly going to give you the best airflow, but you might go deaf in the ear closer to the thing.

THE BEAST! 220 CFM
(I wouldnt suggest it but take a look at their site - I would recommend a Panasonic Panaflo for quiet operation and great CFM)

Loud enough to wake most of a nursing home.
