Does that mean Adobe Flash isn't going to bring my computer to its knees?

I play those little flash games on facebook on my sig rig and its like I'm trying to play crysis 1080p with max settings.

Flash 10.1 will include support for graphics-accelerated... uh, Flash. So it's not that. It's larger images and such - which I quite honestly do not see the need for, for something as trivial as a browser.

If your CPU can't handle rendering an animated GIF, you probably have an integrated GPU... or a really old discrete GPU, which can't handle it anyway.
