RAM issue...

Thread Starter
Just finished putting my sig-rig together, powered up, installed win7 64bit. After toying around a little with it, I check the system stats, just to make sure everything is checking out ok.

Well...it seems to be a pretty common problem, but the RAM is appearing wrong.:swearing:

(EDIT) Bumped the RAM up to the factory requested settings, for some reason, it booted as 7-7-7-18@1066 instead of 9-9-9-24@1600...so now its at the correct timing/speed and running in dual channel, but, the 4.00GB (1.99usable) thing is still there.

I've already toggled memory remapping, it shows this way enabled or not as well. Any thoughts, suggestions, help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Perhaps you have the ram in the wrong slots? Are just try taking out each stick and placing it back in again and booting.
