YES you can easily argue this point, but in most cases.. task killers slow down the performance of this phone as well as drain the battery. I had ATK Pro and ended up getting rid of it for this very reason.
Android is linux. Linux handles resources well. Just because it is in memory doesn't mean it's using CPU cycles. If it needs memory, it will free some itself. If it makes you feel better, keep the task killer. At least give yourself a day or two without one and test it out.
I was wondering what was up when Moto pulled the documentation for 2.1. It'll happen, but probably more like March, which was what the expected date was anyway.Edited by esocid - 2/11/10 at 9:11pm
